Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Guests consistently appreciate the hotel's prime location, describing it as convenient for exploring the city center, close to shops, restaurants, and museums. The rooms, often described as clean and comfortable, sometimes located in a modern building across from the main hotel, feature amenities such as tea/coffee making facilities and, in some instances, kitchenettes with a sink and mini-fridge. The breakfast receives high praise, with special mention of the super fresh buffet items and excellent cooked-to-order dishes; a few guests, however, have noted that the evening meals felt overpriced. The hotel's unique character is also a highlight, with fascinating archaeology in the basement and proximity to attractions like the botanic garden, Kunstmuseum, and the Music Museum.

The location was quite good. It was easy to get around from there, and the area felt okay all time. The breakfast provided a good start to each day. I liked the fresh pastries and variety of cheeses available.
The room lacked air conditioning. This, and the noise from the street was noticeable. Though the staff were helpful, resolving these issues proved difficult.

The hotel is on a quiet street, yet close to the historic center. My room (in the annex across the street) included a sink and mini fridge (no cooking facilities).
